🚀 One Small Step in Space – A Giant Leap in Learning! 🌕

30th Jan 2026

It’s been all things space in Junior and Senior Infants, and the children have been absolutely loving it! Our classroom has been buzzing with excitement as we explored our space theme, proudly saying, “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind!”

The children have been busy creating fantastic space art and having great fun acting out the roles of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, blasting off and landing on the moon through imaginative play.

In Irish, Teddy Béag Álainn has been a huge hit and even inspired our very own Gaeilge’s Got Talent, with lots of confidence, laughter, and participation from everyone.

We would also like to say a big thank you to our Sixth Class buddies and Mrs Martin for a lovely lesson, where we made St. Brigid’s Cloaks and added St Brigid’s crosses to them in preparation for St. Brigid's Day. It was a special and memorable experience for all the children.
