A Baa-rilliant Day 🐑
As we move from the season of winter into spring, there has been lots of talk in our classroom about the changes that happen at this time of year — even if the weather doesn’t always agree! One big topic that has really captured the children’s interest has been lambing season.
Junior and Senior Infants have been very lucky to have two class pets, two baby lambs born on Ms. Clarke’s farm and proudly named by the children themselves. Since they were born, we have been following their journey and watching them grow — and today was an especially exciting day as 'Ewe' won't believe who came to visit us... Bonnie and Timmy !!!
The children were absolutely buzzing with excitement as they got the chance to pet and feed the lambs, showing what great little farmers they are. Other boys and girls in the school also enjoyed meeting our woolly visitors, making it a truly special experience for everyone.
We are all thrilled to have met Bonnie and Timmy and can’t wait to continue watching them grow into big sheep. What a wonderful way to celebrate the signs of spring! 🌼🌿🌸
