All Things Lá Fhéile Pádraig ☘️
It has been a very exciting time in Junior and Senior Infants. We began the week with a wonderful art lesson with Orlagh from Creative Schools, where the children created colourful oil pastel jellyfish 🪼
We also welcomed Dave from Fighting Words, who helped us create our very own class story filled with some brilliant characters imagined by the children.
In P.E., the children have been continuing to enjoy gymnastics, practicing their balancing and rolling skills.
The rest of the week was all about Lá Fhéile Pádraig. We read lots of fun leprechaun stories and designed clever leprechaun traps in the hope of catching Larry the Leprechaun. Today we even went outside on a little chase to try and find him — but he was far too quick for us! 🌈
We also made special good luck cards for our 6th class buddies as they prepare for their Confirmation this weekend. Our buddies are so kind and helpful to us throughout the year, so we were delighted to give them a little message to wish them well on their special day.
With Mother’s Day and the long weekend ahead, we hope everyone enjoys a lovely few days and the celebrations of the St. Patrick’s Day parade 🌷
