Fifth and Sixth Class Tour

20th Jun 2026

Fifth and Sixth Class recently enjoyed an exciting tour to Tanagh Adventure Centre. Although the weather wasn't ideal, it certainly didn't dampen anyone's spirits, and the day was full of fun, laughter, and adventure.

One of the highlights of the day was the climbing wall, which proved to be a huge hit with everyone. The pupils challenged themselves on a variety of routes, with Ben impressively reaching the top of the toughest wall. We had great fun timing each other's climbs, and it was clear that there was plenty of talent on show. Mrs Martin found it difficult to keep up with the impressive skills and speedy times being recorded!

Next up was a lively game of human foosball. The competition was fierce, with teams battling it out in great spirits and plenty of cheering from the sidelines.

We finished the day with kayaking and paddle boarding on the water. There were lots of smiles, splashes, and memorable moments as everyone took part. Susan, Niamh, and Master Donnelly seemed to enjoy the activities just as much as the pupils!

Before we went home we tried out the Slippery Slope — again the competition was fierce but the fun was 100.

A fantastic day was had by all, and everyone returned home tired but happy after a wonderful adventure at Tanagh Adventure Centre.
