Junior & Senior Infants – Our Festive Fun!
Junior and Senior Infants have been incredibly busy over the last few weeks, learning so much and having even more fun as we get closer and closer to Christmas!
We have been exploring lots of exciting themes during playtime in An Siopa Brégán, where the children have enjoyed imaginative play, teamwork and creativity. We also learned the stories of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Kipper’s Toy Box, Stick Man and The Gruffalo’s Child. The children loved retelling them through play, art and role-play.
As Christmas approaches, our toy theme has been a huge hit! The children have been busy designing and creating toys, thinking about what Santa’s Workshop might look like at this magical time of year.
We have also been in full festive flow preparing for our Christmas Nativity Play. The children have been practising their lines, songs and actions with great excitement—we truly cannot wait to share this special performance with you all.
Alongside all the festive fun, we’ve enjoyed lots of Maths Stations, hands-on learning activities, and plenty of Christmas art, helping us dive into the holiday spirit. We are now busily working towards our Christmas party, and the excitement is definitely building!
