Monaghan County Library History Writing Competition

Pupils in sixth class participated in the Monaghan County Library history writing competition. Pupils were tasked with writing an historical piece about their parish, writing about a building or ruin in their local area or conducting an interview with an older relative about growing up in Monaghan. All pupils produced excellent pieces and we were delighted to receive the news that Alanna Finnegan was placed third over all. She conducted an interview with her grandfather.  Well done Alanna.
