The cold January weather certainly hasn’t slowed down Junior and Senior Infants — we’ve been busy learning, exploring, and having lots of fun since returning to school!
We’ve turned into weather presenters, sharing our very own weather news and learning all about winter conditions. We are also really enjoying learning new sounds and have been working so hard in literacy.
As part of our well-being activities, we’ve been talking about what we are grateful for and how to look after ourselves and others. We’ve also become data collectors, gathering and exploring information in a fun and hands-on way.
Our learning has taken us under the winter sea, where we’ve been discovering fascinating sea creatures and enjoying lots of creative, weather-themed activities. What a brilliant start to the new year — we can’t wait for all the fun still to come!
